Course Prerequisites

The requirement for the Values Coaching Course is the completion of our foundational Values Course.

Course Structure

The course consists of six modules, each focusing on a different aspect of values coaching. The modules include lectures, interactive exercises, case studies, and assessments. The course is designed to be completed in approximately two months, requiring approximately 3 hours per week.

Module 1: Understanding Values In this module, coaches will learn about the concept of values and their importance in shaping behavior and decision-making. Coaches will explore different types of values, the role of culture and identity in shaping values, and techniques for identifying and clarifying personal and organizational values. Module 2: Values Assessment and Measurement In this module, coaches will learn about various tools and techniques for assessing and measuring values, including surveys, interviews, and behavioral observations. Coaches will also learn how to analyze and interpret values data and use it to guide coaching sessions.

Module 3: Values Alignment and Integration In this module, coaches will learn how to help clients align their actions and behaviors with their values. Coaches will explore different techniques for integrating values into goal-setting, decision-making, and daily practices.

Module 4: Values-Based Leadership In this module, coaches will learn how to help clients develop values-based leadership skills. Coaches will explore different leadership models and styles, the role of values in effective leadership, and techniques for developing leadership skills aligned with personal and organizational values.

Module 5: Values-Based Conflict Resolution In this module, coaches will learn how to help clients resolve conflicts and disagreements in ways that align with their values. Coaches will explore different conflict resolution models, techniques for facilitating productive communication, and strategies for creating win-win outcomes.

Module 6: Ethics and Professionalism in Values Coaching In this module, coaches will learn about ethical and professional standards in values coaching. Coaches will explore topics such as confidentiality, informed consent, boundaries, and professional development. Coaches will also have an opportunity to reflect on their own values and how they shape their coaching practice.
